Personal: From Spain, Gemma Espejo has a hard enough time dealing with the language barrier, let alone the fact that she can't remember half of the information that goes into her ears the first time. Her parents work for the Ministry of Magic in smaller positions, and they have never done that well financially. Because of this, Gemma has learned to work harder than most to get what she wants.

A Gifted witch, Gemma has been known to quickly put forth high caliber spells with little to no err. She has been known to be catty because of this, knowing that she is often good at what she does, but this is mainly because she has a lot of trust issues that can be broken down once she gets to know you.

Gemma comes from a long line of animagi, however, she has yet to have any inclination as to whether or not she will inherit the traits of her family. They often have put her through rigorous exercise to see whether or not she felt it within herself but, as she suspected, she has yet to discover any power. Ironically, she is especially gifted in Transfiguration.
